Default DOHC ZC swap into my 93 hatch

I've been doing searches all day but most of the info I come across seem to be for ODB1 DOHC ZC, I think the one I got is OBD 0 could someone point me towards where I could get info on say.. ODB0 -> ODB1 or something.

I was thinking if I swap my Z6 IM onto the ZC i shouldn't have to worry about much more cept for the Distro and some other things correct? I think I have to use the mount under the cam gear from my B7 block on the ZC other than that my DZ tranny should bolt up along with the other mounts?

anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Oh yeah anyone have any opinions on this motor I bought it from a JDM motor place. They claim it has only 60,000 miles when it was pulled but it's been sitting a while.. I'm hoping everything will work good once it's done... should it be a big difference from my b7/y8 mini-me setup? umm I also have a 2.5 inch catback.

Basically I want to drop in an OBD0 engine and keep my OBD1 ecu and wires..
Is it possible to use my ODB1 z6 IM and Distributor?

goodluck......

the zc won't be any diff than the mini me you have right now......

the ZC intake manifold is completely diferent than any other d series.......and finding a obd1 DOHC zc dizzy is a btch...believe me I know...

First off, send it back......and tell them you want the OBD1 DOHC ZC...I have one.....its been running strong for 2 years...

but if you really want to try.....you'll have to change the TB out to an obd1 something ( all tb's will bolt up) keep your current wiring......run a chipped p06 or a obd1 pr4 ecu...the mounts should work.......ummmm I'll post more later....kinda buzy and I can't think straight..fukin work..

Thank you. Well after some more researching, I found that the one with the black valve cover with gray plugs are OBD1 and my ZC has a black valve cover with the "honda" on the exhaust side plus it has gray plugs... but I read again that the OBD0 has a big cam sensor on the exhaust side next to the Distro and mine has that also... plus the distributor plugs look like OBD0 plugs.

I got this motor from a friend and my mini-me setup died or else i would have kept it.

yes obd1 has no exhuast cam angle sensor cuz its built into the dizzy......the dizzy plugs look like your typical obd1 d series plugs.....

also the obd1 zc's did not come with an OEM oil cooler......obd0 did......check that...

Well it has big thing right by the Distro on the exhaust side.. where would the oil cooler be? umm I thinking about switching out the injectors for obd1 injectors also... from what I've read they should work.

if it apears to have 2 distributors, then yeah defitanately obd0.......you need to take the cam angle sensor off......use a "plug" p30 I belive off a b16......and find a obd1 dizzy.....then your current injectors and all your current wiring......
