i cxant stand thieves my friends car just got jacked last night i dont understand he had autolock he had the new clifford alarm and he had 2 AUtolocks!!!! can someone clear this up but my frind always though that when you dont have a key in your sterring wheel that the wheel locks so isnt it impossible to stear the car WTF how the **** do they do that **** SOB sorry just real mad

autolocks can be broken, alarms can be disabled

then for the lazy ones there are always tow trucks

i was watching this show on repo guys and this guy had a car jacking thing that he hooked up to the back of his truck. It was kinda like a fork lift, he backed up the truck to the front of the car lowered the jack slid it under the car then it locked on to the wheels. he could take a car in like 5 seconds.

 

worse thing somethign could happen to someone......**** hope things come around for ur friend.

I just bought myself my first car (97 hatch) and trying to stay near it 24/7 if possible.

 

living out here, you almost HAVE to keep your car in the garage every night. and sleep lightly with a bat just in case you hear something in the night.

i live up near livermore and stockton and a lot of stolen vehicles end up in fields out here... i'll look out too.

 

So now you gotta get a Mercury Switch installed so that if the elevation of the car is changed in any way it sets of the alarm

Works on the same principal as Furnace or A/C Thermostat.

Fact of the matter is if somebody wants to steal something they will find a way.

If somebody can make it somebody can break it.

Just make sure you insure it that is the only real defense

this is the exact reason that i voted "no" on the ballot today asking if i wanted to soften the rules on our 3 strikes law. tens of thousands of crooks would be released and many more wouldn't have to go to jail after...

a big problem is shady car clicks. there is one here and they know where i live
l keep my CRX in the garage for this reason alone:thieves. if i ever hear any suspicious noise, i'm charging out there Braveheart status and i'm going to start swinging with my camping axe.

this sucks i took a step back trying 2 hook up my car
now i wanna get one of them lcd alarms (donno if that will work)

dam 2 autolockers, and a clifford alarm, thats crazy, it had to been towed, or some good *** thieves with the clubbusters

 

thats why i got out of the scene, they started my car even tho i had autolock on my clutch(Must has depressed the switch) but they bent my clutch pedal trying to take off autolock, thats why i sold my 2000 civic Si which they tried to steal in broad daylight in a college parking lot, so now i drive a 95 mustang cobra....
