im just wondering what could result from my vavle cover gasket being a little messed up when its put back on

 

Lol what do you think would happen??? It might leak some oil, it might not... If it did its not that hard to solve.. just go buy another one, or be cheap about it and put gasket sealant all around the valve cover....

 

What do u mean by "messed up?" Please elaborate. Gaskets are not expensive and you are setting yourself up for even more expensive repairs. ANd make sure the torque the bolts properly
