well this might sound ghetto but. i was just wondering if the ef9 front bumper will fit on the usdm front bumper? i know the jdm corners will fit onto usdm fenders. i just thought about this today haha i thought it was a neat idea. but since im retaining my stock headlights and my filler peice. would the ef9 bumper mount up? the fact is the whole frontend is kinda pricey. all i want is the wrap around bumper lights. and since i havent seen any lips for the usdm front. password jdm has a nice lip for the ef9 front end. its either this or the WW kit. so what do u guys think or ??

yes it will.

also there is a company called chargespeed that offers lips for both EF9 front ends and 88-89 USDM bumpers, hatch only, i've been talking to one of their reps for the past week or so.

yeah thats all im asking if it'll fit by itself... i mean it looks the same as the usdm one but the lights wrap around and it looks like it hangs lower. i dont know maybe the std bumpers came smaller than others...haha i dont know..where would i go about buying a chargespeed lip??? TIA

are wise sports and charge speed the same company?

the ef that drags butt has a wise sports rear wing, and the chargespeed seems to be the same thing.

I believe they are the same..i've been investigating this charge speed crap for a while and I'm under the impression that chargespeed came out with the first lip design, J's copied them and then whoever else after that.

and boostedej1..yes I've tried just the front bumper and it fits, I mean it's not perfect but it's not noticeable upon close inspection, the bumper will stick out just a little bit more exposing some of the screws up top which would normally be hidden underneath that filler piece in between hood/headlights and bumper. But like I said you probably wont even notice

 

yeah i emailed password jdm and they said it will work but it will be 1/4" off. but im sure i can make it fit. haha but thats kinda ghetto. if we can find a hook up on the charge speed lips for the usdm front end. im surely in on it!

the pic of that bumper was a zc i dont know if a sir one would fit which jdm one do you mean? i know the jdm crx sir bumper i have on my car wont work with stock components because it sticks out farther to match the longer sir hood.

$800.00 includes the hood, bumper, corner lights, bumper lights, fenders, sidemarkers, radiator support, headlights and Rabrig bulbs, and a bunch of parts sometimes (everything from the crossmember forward...dont be dissin on OEM Honda...looks ten ten times better than any bodykit (except REAL MUGEN, but that also uses the JDM conversion!)
