Default My Seafoam Experience

OK guys, I justy did quite a bit of work to my car. I took the head off, had it milled down .045 because thats how much it was warped, put a new heat gasket on....did all of this on saturday....decided I was gonna try out seafoam and see what I think...I need to change my oil anyways so I go and buy some.....I pour it in the brake booster line and WOW!!!! talk about the remake of Cheech and Chong's Up n Smoke.....it was like whoa!! so i put a third in there, a third in the crank--case, and a third in the gas tank....overall i can tell a significant difference...i give it a i reccomend to all the skeptics like me to try this stuff...u will not be dissappointed.....proabaly the best 5 bucks I have ever spent!

You sure this increase didn't come from milling the head?

Sounds like a Fuel and Emission Service we do at my Honda Dealer. Top Engine Cleaner, Fuel cleaner, and we also clean the Throttle body from carbon buildup.

OK, so ur sure it wasnt from illing the warped head... A blown head gasket, and a warped head are a bitch on compression, therefor a HUGE horsepower loss...

I know for a fact that NAPA has it, and I've seen it at ONE out of like 50 autozones I've been too. It is very easily looked over. Small white can with red writing and pictures.

I bought Honda Top End Cleaner while I was at the dealership last week. Is the procedure the same for both TEC and Seafoam??

I really don't know. I would suggest you give that dealer a quick call and ask them. That is your best bet at getting an answer you KNOW is true. But be sure to tell us how it works after you do use it.

Thanks, I will call the delaer in the morning. My motor is pretty new, <20K miles, so I am not really sure if I will gain anything from it.
