11.96 all motor 1.8L...... Zero4racing.......
I finally hit an 11.96 @112. At Pomona... In california.
This is an all motor 1.8liter on pump gas that I drive everyday. Not too bad for a real street car. I got kicked out because it was in competition and I didn't have a roll cage or jacket. But I didn't mind because I had wanted to hit an 11 from the time I had put that motor in my car. I finally did it. I will post the time slip.... Thanks for looking.

Yea, I have stock hood, hatch, and 2 del sol seats...haha.
Wait till I pull weight out and put a bigger motor in.

I am not quite sure. I have never weighed it. But the doors are cut out doors. And I do have a fiberglass hood. But I think that is about it on the lightening of the car. So maybe about 100 pounds lighter than stock without me in it. And I weigh about 190. And I am sure that the half tank of gas weighs quite a bit. I try to run it out of gas before I go race, but I just filled up cause I wasn't sure I was gonna run that weekend. Oh well!!!
Thanks for all the props guys. I am trying to sell this motor and go K-series but I don't think I have enough money. I am not working right now. I still can get alittle more out of this motor. I let off at the very end cause I was gonna break out, but I had no idea that it was gonna be by that much. I dialed a 12.05 and it felt really good. So I know it has alittle more in it. Also I need alittle bigger throttle body(only a stock type R 62mm) and maybe a better engine management than just a chipped P28. Maybe hondata or something? But I will finish off the year with this motor and see what happens for next season.
Thanks again.

It is 91 octane... Right from the pump at 76....... Thanks again for all the props.. I wouldn't have even been at this event if it wasn't for ryan and his team 562 racing, Mike and john and everyone from zero4racing. Team pacman for the advice on driving, Eugene from prostreet import for tuning my car and always helping me out. This is not too bad for one of my first builds by myself... I love it... More to come. Hopefully at bakersfield.... Oct 31.....
Thanks,
Scott
I just need some one to sponsor me, cause I odn't have a job........ Please!!!!!

good stuff Scott!!!!!!!!!! as far as the weight thing goes, i believe if we left all of the stock pieces on the car (hood, doors) we would still be capable of 11 sec timeslips. the rest of the car is completely stock and is driven everyday everywhere...... thanks for giving the props where it is due, i'm certain people have run as quick or faster with a comparable setup..... congrats again Scott, keep up the good work!. lates
Congrats to Scott and the candycane EG
Good times at Pomona, let's see another sick 11 second run this weekend!!!!
Hey wasn't 11.96 the ET on the green hatch at the make-up ET race a couple of months ago???
