Default Is it good to port a h22?

Topic said it all...since i need to replace the head gasket.

It's good to do some research on all of the things that need to be considered before porting an H22. All-motor or turbo, what cams/pistons/bore do you want, who does a good job of porting, where do you want your powerband, etc.....

But is it a good idea to port the head with all stock piston, valves, etc..on the head? Thanks

Dont know much about porting. But i would assume to get the most out of it is to have some high compression and some nice cams. Thats n/a.If i was pulling the head spend money on a nice valvetrain and some nice cams.
