H&R Race springs
why do they even call them race springs if they don't tell you what spring rates they are? Seems like a misnomer to me. If they were real race springs they would be a high spring rate and probably unrealistic for street driving. Call H&R and ask them, they will know better than any of us. I imagine it is in the 250-300lbs range.
It's interesting that pre-packaged spring kits like that don't disclose spring rates. I guess that's because they're made for people who don't know or care much for real performance. Like me in the past, I had H&R Sport springs, and they were SOFT. I'm sure the Race springs are stiffer, but probably come in combinations that do not reduce understeer. If you actually track your car and want it to really handle, you've gotta do a lot of research and get some Eibachs of rates, lengths, and diameters you can choose yourself. General rule of thumb: to reduce understeer in a front driver, you'll want a stiffer spring rate in the rear (relative to the front) and a fat rear sway bar.
Well my bro got these used including koni's for 200 bucks...in great condition. So it was more price than anything...and plus its an accord. Its not gonna handle like a f1 no matter what. Anyways..thanks for posting.

H&R race springs as well as other similiar "race springs" like Neuspeed's are called race spring because they drop your car 2-2.5+" and thats the race look all the ricers love, to be on the ground with zero suspension travel and increased understeer. I can guarantee you the rear springs are as soft as **** and not designed for racing, but rather to look racy driving down the street.

if you were smart enough to realize what you were buying you would not be asking us for the rates. I, along with a few others on this board, could blow your mind about suspension setups. Please do not tell us that we do not know what we are talking about when you do not even know in the first place.
I still have the box my H&R springs came in. Spring rates are not published on the box. Spring rates are not published on the documentation that came with the springs. Spring rates are not published on the H&R web site. People have asked H&R what the spring rates are and received no answer. No one I know has the time or inkling to measure the rate of an H&R spring.
The Accord is one of the best selling cars on the planet. Koni is damn well making a shock that fits it. All cars do not use the same shock. Will a Koni Yellow fit an Accord? Well, gee, is it a Koni Yellow that Koni specifies for an Accord?
Is this the answer you were looking for?

http://www.ground-control.com Cheap, good quality coil-over sleeves, Eibach springs, and your choice of shocks.
http://www.truechoice.com Koni coil-overs and Eibach springs. Reletively pricey, but still less than most coil-over sets and great quality... although Truechoice owes me a $511 refund and it's been a month and I still haven't seen it.

Well I think it truly depends on you intentions for the car. I use a Truechoice setup( http://www.truechoice.com). It includes Ground Control sleeved coilovers with Koni yellows. The spring rates are 300 front and 350 rear. this is a light setup for track/street use and is very nuetral. I get a little roll on the track but no where near as much as stock. I use the spring/shocks with a ST 21mm rear sway bar and DC front strut bar. These help me rotate the *** end much smoother without a lot of steering wheel input.
What do you plan for your car, be objective and honest to what you really will beneift from and then we will able to give you some specific help?
