they work. you just cant use (i beleive) oem si and type r ones with out drilling holes or something. Or is 92-95's that are like that.

Some 92-95 DX's have the holes already drilled, mine did. But it seems that some don't. I don't think any of the CX's came with holes drilled.

it's not that they won't fit... it's because the stock airbox is in the way, usually getting an aftermarket intake will solve the problem. if not, get rid of that crappy y7 manifold ... btw i have a 99-00 stock si bar on my 00 cx and a aem intake and yes you will have to drill the holes to use the si or ctr bar

you can use 99-00 si but you have to run the lower control arms and shock forks.
(same as ctr) the holes for the sway bar bushing brackets are already there

you can also use 96-00 civic ex sway bar and lower control arms. ( smaller size though)

I installed a 99-00Si strut bar on my 97 Dx. Really easy to do. There are two dimples on each shock tower where the holes should be drilled. If you put the bar up to it you'll see where they are. get some 3/8" grade 8 bolts, lock nuts and washers. Drill the holes, install the bolts with a large washer on it from in side the fenderwell, so the threads stick up into the engine bay and through the strut bar. Put another washer on and then the lock nut. Mine fits great (although I have a AEM intake) and is rock solid. I did notice slightly better feel from the front end after I installed it.

if you are going to drill holes and put the SI or CTR on.

MAKE sure you jack the car up before drilling and marking your spots.

drill and bolt on your bar and then lower the car back to the ground

You can't fit the Si/CTR brace on with stock Y7 airbox. If you want to leave the stock airbox on there (and I don't see why you would) Neuspeed makes one specifically for it that clears everything and requires no drilling. It mounts to the shock bolts.

what? the gsr bar is the same as those two. the only difference between the si bar and the ctr bar is color.

finally someone that answered the question he was asking.

he wants to know about the strut bar. not the sway bar.

Get rid of the y7 alien looking intake manifold, find a y8 manifold and you'll be good. Plus you gain a lil more throttle response
