Hey everybody, I have a 99 Honda Accord Coupe V6 EX model. It's pretty hard to press the horn and the only place where i can press it for it to beep is a few inches around the "H." But not everywhere on the whole center piece on the steering wheel (like the 2 bottom corners)... Is this normal for my model? I got in a 2001 Accord 4dr, 4cyl today and the horn was easy to press, and worked anywhere I pressed it in the center of the steering wheel. Thanks.

 

It's not supposed to be too easy to honk just by slightly pressing it in.

Try punching it.

 

my Accord's horn is so european I love the sound of it. MEEEEEEEEEP

 

there's no problems... that's the way it's supposed to be.

Try jabbing your steering wheel with the heel of your palm...trust me it will honk .
