i just hammered the sound deadning material from my car a little while ago(note its winter, and the material seemed to crack easier than the summer). what do i use to remove the tar and sticky crap??any suggestions??

 

Go buy some bug/tar remover at a auto parts store. I think ArmorAll makes a pretty good one.

I think either one will do the trick. Simple green is less caustic. (and biodegradable!)
