Default 91 dx hatch wont start.why?

So i just got it like a week ago.91 dx hatch COMPLETLY stock 5 spd.

It had problems starting it would take a while to start so i changed the neg batt wire and the pos wire from the batt to the fusebox and to the starter(these are the only 2 right?)becase they looked corroded. It started fine once so i though it was fixed.

Then i went out of town (not in this car) and came back and it would crank but not start so i thought it could be the battery so i jumped started it and i THINK it started and shut off after that it doesnt even crank. I got the battery checked and its charged and fine. Doesnt even crank now. PLLEEASSEEEE

oh yea there is a signal at the starter when someone turns the key.and the fuses i checked seem good

i heard a sound and looked by the clutch and there is a relay hanging there without a cover and when i turn the key it moves.(this should happen right?) The car had a remote start alarm i think because u dont need to depress the clutch to have it start.

Any opinions.

If its not turning over it could be anything from a ignition switch, to main relay, to bad grounds, blown fuse anything.

If it is turning over it could be a bad coil, rotor, cap, dizzy, alternator and so on.

It had problems starting then i changed the batt wires and i thought i fixed it.

Now it doesnt even turn over.

I checked fuses..good. And the starter gets a + signal when someone tries to start it.

I heard about the main relay problem but if this was the problem shouldnt it crank?

well check if you are getting spark: spark plugs and wires and dizzy.. then check if you are getting fuel (check for fuel pressure).... fuel pump fuel filter and fuel injector...

The only way i know how to check for spark is putting a screwdriver in the sparkplug wire and getting it close to metal and see if there is a visible spark. Right?

How could i check the disty?

How about fuel pressure/injectors or filter?
Also i tried checking my engine codes and when i turn the switch it blinks immediately 1 time as i am turning it to the position.IS something messed up(ECU)? no blinks after that at ALL...
SORRY im stupid when it comes to this? Thanks

I really need to get this fixed.
Any way to check the starter?

When i try and look and the led in the ecu it only blinks once AS I TURN THE KEY and nothing after that. What does this mean?

if your car is trying to turn over your starter is fine.

the ecu should blink once and not anymore. you have no ecu codes. that's good
i would try a diff. ignitor and/or coil

Look if it still won't crank at all, don't worry about all that other crap yet like fuel and spark,etc-First without it cranking it's pointless.
It is most likely the Ignition switch wiring harness.Honda's always and still having that problem. The harness is under $20 at a dealership and easy to install.
