I wasn't sure where to post this, so please move to if wrong mods.
My A/C stinks REALLY bad, only when I FIRST turn it on. I have already checked my interior A/C fan and it is clean. Please help someone!!!

One time, one of my friends' snake had escaped inside the car. Never found that it except a couple of weeks later the car started wreaking like something had died in there...

It very well could be something dead in your ducts. I have pulled old mice out of some older cars that I have restored. By then they didnt smell but I can imagine that they did at one time.
Whats probably happening is the stench builds up when the AC is not being used then when turned on you get a blast of it till its aired out. But the cycle keeps going on whenever you turn it off.
Mike!

it is probably your condenser, when it gets dust, mold, ****, or other stuff in it, it makes your ac really smell bad, mine does too. i saw on tv there is some product you can put in there and it foams up and cleans it out, but i dont have any other info about it.

I don't know what kind of car you have but my S2000 has an a/c micron filter. I changed that recently and spray lysol thru my ducts with the fan all the way on.
I don't know anything when it comes to A/C, so what is a condensor and where is it located? anyone have a link to a picture or a diagram?
I don't have a micron cabin air filter, only 99+ Preludes have them. I have a 98.

Same happened to my friend's integra. Smelled like a combo of bad breath/a bit of ****. I just thought maybe it was the time he went through a puddle lake and hydrolocked his motor.

UPDATE
Well, I think its mildew and mold build up due to condensation over time. I ALWAYS had my "recirculate" button on, so I think the air didn't have anywhere to go, so condensation built up which lead to mildew and mold.
I put my a/c on full blast and sprayed Lysol into the ducts under the windshield wipers. It helped a Little bit, but is still there! Someone HELP!!!

Make sure that you set the vents to open and turn off the AC a mile or two before you reach your destination. That should "purge" the system.
It worked for my car. It used to smell a bit funky, but after a month or two of doing that, it's stopped.

Yea, I remember seeing a demo of it on Two Guys Garage or something...
It was an aerosol can with a long thin tube that you snake up the condensation drain pipe, and it completely fills the evaporator chamber up with foam. Anyone know the name of this product??
