Took some pics of MXer David Vuillemin
I was out at Racetown 395 in Adelanto on Friday shooting some pics for work, and Factory Yamaha MXer David Vuillemin was riding out of his own truck right next to me. I snapped a few pics of him, he was hauling ***.

Thanks. It's a Canon 10D with Canon Ultrasonic 70-200 67mm F4.0 lens. I shot those on Shutter Priority Shutter Speed 1000 ISO 100 which I think gave me an aperture of around F5.0

Yeah man it was awesome, he was so fast it was crazy. I guess when you see all the pros on the track at a SX or National you don't have a perspective on how fast they are going. To see him riding on a track I ride on, and with people I ride with, just showed how amazing a rider he really is. He was doing **** that I would think was impossible, the way he went through certain corners he was on the gas till like 2 feet before the apex and then back on the gas as soon as the back wheel touched the apex. And he had his 250 wide open throttle for at least 80-85% of each lap.

makes you feel slow dosent it? good pics though. about the only dirt bike riders i enjoy watching is the pro's. it just sucks i get less time to ride the local tracks because of all the dirt bikes during practice sessions.
I guess I'm pretty lucky down here in So Cal - I'm a half hour from Cahuilla Creek (Transworld MX tests/shoot there all the time), 20 minutes from Elsinore, an hour from Glen Helen, and within 2 hours of 3 more tracks.
Plus in Temecula I see pro racers at the grocery store, gas station, movies, etc. I saw Brian Deegan at KFC a couple weeks ago - all the freestylers live around here too.
I shot photos for the Simpson/GS3 MX gear catalog today at Elsinore with a Nor Cal pro named Turbo Reif. Weather is shitty in So Cal right now though.

Sometimes I want to move south where there is more riding areas. I live in central Ca. and there are plenty of places, but not as many as So cal. There are tracks everywhere down there.

Yeah the guy I was shooting pictures of yesterday (Turbo Reif) lives in San Luis Obispo. He said there aren't a lot of tracks he rides at a few private tracks though.
