Default B16 Question - Used Search - Could Not Find

I have a 91 CRX w/ B16 swap. The SWAP was already done when I bought the car.

Can someone tell me what engine I have? The engine has this:

B16A
1028670

The Tranny:
S 1 - 1057238

What car is this B16 out of? When buying parts, what should I get parts for?

Thanks

Jesse

since your motor is a 1 million series b16a it came out of a 90 - 91 jdm da6/8 integra xsi. If it was a 5 million series it would have came out of a ef 8/9. As for buying parts it depends what you need to buy. Some parts could be used from a crx, 90-93 integra, 94 del sol vtec, and 99-00 civic si as well.

When I went to do my timing belt. I looked under 94 Del Sol VTEC and the water pump was different. I then looked under 96+ Del Sol VTEC and the water pump was the right one.

So your saying I will always have this issue about what parts could actually fit...

Yes. Most of the time i just look for parts for a 92 integra gsr. A lot of the parts off the b17 will work on the jdm b16a. But for ignition I just use a 90-91 integra cap and 91 crx si rotor.

Wow, so the rotor is actually off the D16? Ok, might be better off getting a newer B16 and dropping it into place
