wiring up H1's to "running/parking" lights for JDM 1 peices?

wiring up H1's to "running/parking" lights for JDM 1 peices?
I am wiring up my JDM 1 peices, but i do not want the Daytime running light H1 bulb to be continuously on throughout the day. If i wire them to my parking/corner lights will both bubls still get enough power? Is there any kind of danger in blowing a fuse, or shorting out lights, etc. that could happen? Also, if i just wanted to wire them up to a switch in the "cockpit" what power source could i wire them to other than just straight from the battery. thanks!
