Default Problem*** Not getting a spark?

After doing the compression test on the H22A, we put the spark plugs back in the way it was and the next day tried starting the car but it wouldnt start. We pulled one of the plugs off the distributor and noticed it wasnt getting a spark. We took apart the distributor and cleaned off the fork and the little (stubby things that the fork rubs on when it turns) and still no spark. I am thinking its either the ECU or the module? Any ideas? Thank you

Try your coil. Take a volt meter and make sure its getting power to it. Also the igniter, check those first before going and changing the ECM.

Most of the time its the coil more so if its inside the distrib.

And the little thing you talk about is the Rotor.

good luck with your whip

it was getting a spark before the compression test which is strange because we just took out the spark plugs and put them back in..

I will see if the coil has power. Thank you for the help

You didn't disable the ignition during the test, did you? Probably toasted the coil.

Ok, i tested the possitive and negative points on the coil inside the distributor and they both how power....i guess this means the coil is junk?
