Anyone from san jose got a paint job at macco>? im plannin to get a new paint job but dont know if i should paint my **** at macco. Im willin to spend 1800 for a goood *** paint job. But yea. How is macco paint job like???
nah.. macco isnt recommended by much because of the cheap paint they use, lack of preparation, and speedy process.
1800 is enough for a reallly reallly good paintjob. a factory paintjob which includes removing all windows and moldings already start at 2000 around here. that place is called Keystone or something. but if you want the best place that does **** by the book, call your insurance agency and get a few recommended shops.
if you find someone that does it for a good price, look at their work before you agree on anything.

call the insurance compnay?
thats a joke. I guess if they are cool, they wll let you know of the places THEY DON'T recomend, cause doing it by the book, would cost them more money.
i've had about 3 people i know do a maaco job around here in VA, and **** for 300 bucks, i'd do it.

hey, i said call his agency, i didnt say tell them that he is a client. he could just call for a few recommended body shops...
look for a body shop called Sterling. they do work for insurance. very nice facility. itll probably be a bit more than 1800. a small price to pay for the perfect job done the first time with guarantees... just be sure that whatever desicion you make doesnt yield endless headaches afterwards...

i have seen three cars done at macco. 2 of them were **** the other was very good. I do not know if they all used the same macco. but if thats what you want to do then go for it. I would not spend 1800 at macco. maybe 500 tops.
