Default Interior poll

Ok guys, I have to agree, after seeing pics of partially painted interior, this is not what I want to do. I am now planning on dying the whole interior white. As I said in my previous post, my car is white and I have white rims. I would dye everything white, appart from the seats and the carpet. The seats will probably be changed sometimes and the carpet left as it, or dyed black or something. What do you guys think? I'm really sick of the blue interior, I really want to change it. Would black be a better alternative?

Thanks

Ok, seriously, I'm sick of blue interior. Seems white is not a good option, would black be good then? Stop telling me not to do anything.

Ok, thanks, that's probably what I'll do. I'm not so sure on how to remove the dash though, maybe you can help me on that? Everything should be fine. Did you have any problems removing some of the parts?

Thanks,
Charles

you don't have to take out the dash and the other parts if you are careful and patient. i redid the interior of my old prelude - it was blue, the carpet was stained and crappy looking - so i turned the whole inside of the car black. now it looks like the whole interior has been redone with new dash and interior panels. no one can tell the difference. just used vinyl paint and covered the windows so i didn't spray them with paint. didn't have to remove anything.

if u take everything out u get it all in every spot and there is no chance of overspray also u can drive it while it dries and u wont be high as **** doin it just plug the gauge cluster in and ur set ive done it some guy gave me some funny looks and started laughin at me

No! Blue is ugly, I hate blue, it's not even nice blue. I'm going for black. I'll post some pics when I'm done, which will be in a while considering I have to finish some body work, swap the engine take out the interior and then paint it, while working and studying full time. Good luck to me!

yeah anyways i think you should go out and buy BLUE crx seats (MAKE them fit) and the BLUE crx dash. now that's different.
man you guys with the black interior just dont get it lol

ive gone with blueish crx seats and considered a blue crx dash but the blue rex dash is straight up ugly with all the black stuff in the middle.
i am very thankful i dont have the brown interior some 88-89s got or the red interior some sedans got but blue still sucks next to black

it wouldnt be so bad but the carry over parts which are all black such as steering wheel, shift boot etc which is pretty much the same on all EF and clashes with the blue
worst part of it is things like cargo cover, side shelves for cargo cover, optional audio console, etc trying to find that stuff in blue. i got a blue cargo cover but it looked ugly... so now its black to match the shelves (which were once brown... now black since i couldnt find any blue vinyl dies)

im personally thinking of going black in summer. im just unsure of if i should do everything... id rather do it with factory stuff to keep the 2tone grey/black blue/light blue style. and also i question what the hell ill do for like the headliner and stuff? just leave it as is. and then also theres seatbelts and stuff like that which is still pesky blue

btw as far as removing interior panels go whats everyones method of choice for removing those wannabe screw things that hold lots of panels on. you know the ones im talking about... i always end up going at them with needle nose pliers but that kinda chews them up
