That pic was snapped from the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas trailer for the upcoming game. It seems the people over at Rockstar Games love the old civic/crx's.

If you don't know a 1st Gen CRX made an appearence in their GTA: Vice City as well. The GTA: San Andreas is supposed to take place late 80s early 90s I believe so I suppose it's fitting for a 4th gen to be around.

Yah looks like it, crazy body kit on it though...Vice City did have the crx handled like a go cart. Pre Ordered my game already can't wait till tuesday.

 

Sorta looks like it and sorta doenst. It would have to wait untill a view of the front or the rear before a decision can be made on if it is or not.

Well it's not going to look exactly like because they don't ask for rights to use the cars. It'll have a different name and have different features... they did the same thing in Vice City with the 1st gen rex... it was a little different but undeniably a CRX.

hopefully the CRX is in the new Gran Turismo, since it was absent from the 3rd GT...

 

It looks like it could be a volkswagen golf too. But it looks shorter like a hatch. But the rear looks like a golf.

 

If the front wasn't so long.

 

I went to their website to check it out too see if there was any more pics of it but I was unable to find them. Also I looked for an email address to email them to ask them about it but there was nothing. But there are a few jobs for Rockstar North in NYC if anyone is interested .

I think its suppose to be....

 

looks nothing like an EF hatch..And even if it was, it doens't surprise me, because all of the recent GTA games have horribly rendered plygonal shapes... But i have noticed that hatch in the commercial, good looks for noticing it pass by really quick.... but honestly.... screw GTA and its degrading sociological Gang wars gone hollywood Fun for KIDS.. and boose for the 5 year old too whoohoo lets go.!!!


If it is an EF .. its a disgrace...

i read this listneing to vcpr in a tan crx... haha. thats sweet though to have a hatch in the new gta. also, i cant wait for gt4. sweeeeeeeet. i hope it has those f1 cars or something like it... i loved the f/686's and f/687'm.

 

why didn't Gran turismo make the ef body style hatchbacks ? only eg and ek

supposedly in the list of HONDA's in GT4 it says.. EF9 (SIR) which is the 88-91 jdm &lt;3 hopefully it will be in it.

are these pictures of the crx from gt4? and my bro says that san andreas is going to have the balista compact(which was the crx looking car in vice city) im not sure about it but ill find out tonight when i get the game..after this game its gonna be all about gt4 and maybe halo2 if they make it for playstation...

yes but the thing is... 91 in japan is the EG.... they are ahead a little bit so the SIRI would be the EF or just the SIR, so i hope its still in there. Because i know the EG was in the previous versions but not the ef

 

i doubt that it will be in gt4. and i dont plan on buying or using the online stuff... i bought the modem thing that goes on the back but oh well...

 

japan is one model year ahead of us. meaning the 91 civic was/is really a EG body style.

Well GTA: SA came out today. Someone must have it to confirm if it is a CIvic or a close resemblence to one.
