Default Congratulations NHRA--Who said West Coast Racing was dead

This was the best import race I have ever been to. There had to be 10,000 people there on Sunday. All the pro races were exciting. Everyone in the stands were going crazy after every race. Everything stayed on schedule and smooth and most all races were close. H-T's own Tom C was working his *** off to keep it going but the entire NHRA staff was top notch.
Several pro racers got into staging duals when neither car wanted to stage first. Everyone in the stands was cheering them on.
Calif weather at it's racing best. Track prep was perfect. Good job, NHRA!

Going to have to agree with you 100%. NHRA handled this event quite well and the competition was great. It was my first full race of the season and I had a great time. Next season should be a lot of fun.

Skunk2 rawks.

i have to agree 110%. There are more and more trailors this year than any other year. Its starting to look a lot like the powerade pits. I just wish that i would have gotten more runs in. everytime i went to the lanes to run i kept getting turned away. A lot of the ET cars didnt get a lot of runs on saturday...all i got was one and then an elimination run on sunday. overall this has been the biggest and best event since ive been around the import drag racing scene the past 4 years. pomona will draw a crowd, simply because its pomona.

all the races were good. had a lot of side bets going on some of them.

yup, thats a first out here. usually when pros are done, the stands get empty... for the sfwd and srwd. and to NHRA for putting on a great event!

Earl
I am glad to see Mike was ok. Hope to see the new car soon.

This was one of the best races we have seen in the west coast in a long time.

It was good to see people in the stands having a good time.

It was the best race i have ever been to. The all motor field was crazy!!!! 10.60 cut off thats nuts. Since when did a 10.60 get you the 16th spot on the ladder. Skunk holding it down with the K power. Congrats to all the competitors

Earl , first of all im honeslty gald to say mike is ok. i hate to see crashed i have witness so many crashs over the years .We all have our differences here on h-t but in the end we all came together.I think everyone worked there butts off.. to make this race a sucess. This is one of our only local tracks which has 1 event a year for sport compacts . I was dissapointed, in the crowd. My goal was to see 20,000 but it wasnt a let down. The races were THE BEST ever. i have neever seen better racing ever in my life then this POMONA EVENT. EVEYRONE DESERVES A ROUND OF APPLASES. The guys at NHRAput in so much work for this event. from scrapping the trackto cleaning and chalking and everything else. Went so smooth. Thumbs up to everyone see all of you guys next year
