How much for a 1st gen crx.
I was driving home tonight, and saw a 1st gen crx for sale. The body looked straight, no rust. But I am not sure of how it runs. The paper in the window said it ran great, but you never know. I am thinking about picking it up, do you think $795 is a decent price? I would try and lowball them
but how low do you think I should offer? I doubt it is an Si. It was white, and had those nasty plate looking rims. There were no emblems to check though. Plus I dont know what the difference is anyways.
Thanks.

The difference is the si is fuel injected and the others are carbed. That means the si is easier to do a swap in and the others are a pain in the *** because you have to make the car fuel injected. Buy it if is an si, other wise don't. Later

Sweet, so that's a average price. Maybe I will walk in and offer $600, and go from there. Well, first I need to check it out a little better.

Thanks

It wouldnt hurt to offer the seller $650 for it, I wouldn't consider that lowballing either. If the seller says yes there you go....insurance or upgrade money!
you guys are all paying way too much for those cars - not that 750 is a lot to pay for those cars, but my brother has had 6 of those cars, all but one was an si and the most he has paid for them is 100 bucks. and that was the one he just bought. the rest he got for 50 bucks. the one he just bought has no rust and runs great. so yeah, 750 is high. just look around for someone who is looking to just get rid of one, especially if you are turning it into a project car.
