The plan is to hit Cecil on Sat and E Town on Sunday. Now if I can just get a head
on the car that holds water and has 16 valves that seal...... at least I KNOW what
the heck is wrong with it now! Ran a 10.14 this way...

Well the car is running great until it hits 5000rpms and then just breaks up or even cuts out.

tried different engine managment and everyhitng else in the engine bay...im completely lost on this one.

Remember we have a dollar locked up from nopi atco still. Be cool to see everyone out again before everyone goes back into hibernation for the winter.

 

We'll have to see how it goes, I am letting someone else drive the car for the weekend.

This just in. Sunday weather is gonna be almost perfect w/ the highs in the 70's!!!!

 

Steve I didn't know you got your car back together.

What went out last time? did the water pump explode? or was it the tensioner.

And...since when do you come on Honda-tech?!? I though all the neonites stayed closed to teh mother .org

It's not really back together yet, but it's on it's way. The last time out was at
E Town NHRA, The track was hooking so well it broke the transmission case.
Did some creative welding to stiffen things up.....this one won't break

I won't go too far into the engine problem, but I can say there wasn't much
right going on under the hood! It should run pretty good this weekend.

Heck I was on Honda Tech 2 years before I got the Neon. IMO the best forum
on the Web for drag racing. .Org is a close 2nd.

 

I'LL BE THERE TRYING TO HOLD IT DOWN.

Weather looks great guys. Mine is back together and I'm looking forward to
giving it all it's got for the last race of the year. If it breaks I have all winter
to fix it......


There's more then one of us looking for that magic number before the year is
out!
