what octane gas for 1998 CRV motor?
what is the recommended octane in gas for the 1998 crv motor? with such high prices in gas..91 octane is becoming unaffordable. thanks

I dont think there were any b20z's out in 98, could be wrong. Anyhow if its b20b, just buy the cheapest gas u can find, low compression motor wont make a flip of a difference.

Just remember the octane rating is to prevent knocking. I forgot the equation though. It does not mean the higher the octane the cleaner the fuel. But stick to Mobil or Exxon and you'll be fine!
