My friend's 96, 4 door integra is bogging everytime we hit 2nd RPM. After it passes 2 everything else is fine. What could be wrong? Distributor? Air Box?

 

2nd rpm?!? do you mean 2nd gear? 2 rpm? 2000 rpm?

 

2k RPM. 2000 RPM, my bad on confusing statement.

is it in every gear? or just first? or what? it could be lots of things man. clogged injectors, corroded cap and rotor...

 

Its an automatic. It just bogs every 2K RPM, until it hits 3, it fine.

well, remember, hondas dont have ANY low end torque, so low rpms in your integra = not much power.

 

Believe me, even a non-technical person can tell when a car bogs. This **** struggles to go up.

 

may be it's your timing.

 

could be anything, have you fiddled with anything to see if it gets any better?

 

What's done to the car, is it stock?

 

The car is completly stock from head to toe. 96 Integra automatik 4 door. 90k Mileage.

 

seriously, it could be one of a hundred things. there's really no way to tell what's wrong with it online like this. best bet is to take it in to the dealership and have it looked at, especially if it's completely stock. could be electrical, fuel pump, injectors, sensors, exhaust leaks, etc. literally a hundred different things. good luck.

 

its probably a clog somewhere. maybe the catylic converter is clogged? Or spark plugs, anything could be badd at this moment
