ok, to begin I'd like to say thank you for even reading this post, I appreciate it tons.
Now, please bear with me, because this might get confusing.
an engine wiring harness goes through the entire engine bay before coming to 3 plugs. after these three plugs the harness branches and goes to the fuse box and then combines and goes through the firewall.
I am looking for someone who cut that second harness (or sub-harness) as close as possible to the firewall. I need the bunch of wires that go to the fuse box and then to the 3 plugs.
That's what I need. Where do I even begin tpo look for that, and what do I call it?
just from those 3 plugs back to the firewall I guess is what I need.
I hope you guys understand. I didnt want to post this in the classifieds because I'm not really asking if anyone out there has one (if someone does, that's great)
I'm more asking about what I would call that and where I would look for one.
Thanks a ton guys, I hope to hear from somebody, and I hope people understand what I'm looking for.

i need it for any obd1 vtec car... that would be a '92 to '95 civic ex or si. or a '92-'95 GSR.
I'd try to get pics... just imagine someone cut your wiring harness right where it goes into the firewall... and then unplug that section from the engine harness... I need the piece that goes between the engine harness and the firewall...
It would go from 3 fairly decent size plugs, branch off into the fusebox, and then to a bundle of wires that would normally go through the firewall and run down to the ecu.
Like, it has to be cut, there's no other way to get it unless you remove the entire sub harness tht plugs into the ecu... But then you have to remove the entire dashboard and its a pain in the ****. instead of removing the dash, I just want someone to cut their harness by the fire wall and give me the mid-section
3 plugs-> fuse box-> whole bunch of wires that go to firewall...
thanks for the quick replies.

this got me more confuse
but i think you are talking about the wiring harness that goes through the entire cabin then exits through the firewall and mount on side of the engine bay with 3 plugs. IF that is the case, it is called the cabin wiring harness. It costed $860 without tax
at Honda, $643 w/o tax at honda automotive online. I don't think you can get just the 3 plugs and the parts that goes to the main fuse box separate. i suggest you get hook up from honda-tech classified or personal know someone at your local junk yard. Every once in a while, junk yard have "you pull it days" for 40 bucks or something. Go in there and get what you need plus all you can carry with your hands

I happen to have one, it's from a 1995 gsr. it's the WHOLE wiring harness from the ENTIRE chassis. I'm sure we could work something out... I have what you need, but i'll let you tangle though the mess of wires to get what you need.

ok, so next question being does it have the fusebox still attached? Because I would be more than willing to pick up the ecu/subharness from you. I don't need the engine harness, and you should sell that because it's worth some Beans.
pm me, or actually, I'll pm you now.
thanks for the posts, and thanks for flaming that loser, he's just a local who thinks he funny.

its not a part number. it needs to be cut. You cna't get a cut wiring harness from Honda. Real Simple. The wiring harnes goes through the fire wall. right there, take some big cutters and cut the harness. now unplug that piece in your hand from the engine harness (3 plugs.) that part, that's what I need.

-Mike
you don't need to cut it. I've done a swap from obd1 to obd0, and reused the entire harness from an obd0 car. yes it is time comsuming, but it can be done.
as far as vtec is concerned, I'm using an ls harness with a gsr motor right now. I needed to run a total of two whole wires(knock sensor and vtec seilnoid, only needed two becuase of sk2 im). You'll need to take out the dash board to get it out as you can see here it is barried behind quite nicely
what are you trying to accomplish here? i.e what motor in what car? and what wiring harness do have now?
pm'ed you back

long story short, my '94 integra GSR has a chassis harness already in it, and a complete dash already installed.
However it is a theft recovery vehicle, and the thieves clipped the wiring harness right against the firewall (to save time, it seems) so instead of ripping apart the dash and all that, I am looking for a replacement wiring harness that I will cut, and then sodder connect all of the wires to the cut wiring harness that is already in the car.

You are making it harder than the situation is...now would be a good time to hit the junk yard. The purpose of this post is DONE!...you know what it's called now. If you want to buy it...hit the classified. Sorry if that sounds harsh
