Travel Path of Apex-i N1??
I was under my car today, and i was looking at the route that the exhaust takes on my 94 Integra RS. It goes straight back from the cat. Makes a sharp 90 degree turn right, then makes a 90 degree turn towards the back, and then it goes up into the wheel well.
So i was wondering to myself, Apex-i claims that the N1 has one of the straightes exhaust routs there is. But how does it travel. Does it just go right over the gas tank and right out the back??? Or does it make all of these turns and twists and bends??? Thanks.
Also, where can i have a test pipe made?? Autozone for $10 i heard???

my sedan N1 has the same route as the oem catback.
yah too bad cuz I hoped it would be straight back.
I remember reading/hearing this though...
I believe there was an older design for coupes, possibly sedans as well and yes indeed that older N1 catback did go straight back and under the lower subframe between the LCA's... that is where all the big talk came from of straight as possible, minimal bends, etc.
But, nowadays that is just P.R. bullisht they have on their site still, and it is incorrect, so dont be fooled if that straight back system is what you need, get a catback from another company.

Because its more of a straight exhaust. For example, the greddy has a 2.25" pipping and in the turns it has a little larger. 60mm is actually 2.3" or something like that.
Now apex is 60mm all the way through.

If the exhaust was really as straight as possible under the car, it'd be unstreetable (is that a word? hehe).
There are some pics, i think in the itr forum of somone with an exahaust that is almost *straight* back from the cat...
