OK so i went to the track the other night for the first time with my type-s. I was kinda disappointed actually, best time was a 15.2 with a 2.4 60ft but i was able to pull two 2.3 60fts but those runs were slower. All stock cept for springs and tire pressure at 27psi. I think the weather was really shitty that night cuz i went with my friends who has an 04 6speed maxima who has pulled 14.3s b4 and ALWAYS runs 14.7 and 14.8 at the slowest and his best time that night was only a 15.1 I was able to pull better times than he was doing and i also beat him to the finish like twice. Im not to sure how big of a factor weather can actually be but im hoping thats wut kept me outa the 14s. Wut do yall think....

 

Weather is a big factor, Thats not bad for stock, I got a 14.9 w/ an intake, everything else stock. But i'm not the greatest driver in the world either.

 

Ya thats another thing...ive only had my car for 4 weeks exactly the night i went to the track. I had not tried launching it until that night, alot different than my old del sol. Lots of people talk about wheel hop which was a bitch during the burnout but i cudnt event get the tires to spin at all launchin at 3k. It wud just bog and i wud drive away from the line, prolly just need a lil more practice and go back with better weather. NE more comments....
