Default Carbon EGR question

I've read all of the " how to's " on this site and they are great, you guys really know your s__t.
What I really wanted to know is...How many hours will my Honda mechanic (charge/estimate) me to clean out my EGR ? Hopefully 1
(FYI-I don't go to a dealer)...I have to go to him to replace my O2 sensor anyway.
I usually do my own small repairs except ones with gas or oil, I don't need the stain.
I have a 122,000 miles and my MPG really sucks.

Thanks for reading this
Steve

I recently had my whole EGR system cleaned out, It was so dirty my check engine light came on. It took about 2 hours and they charged me $140, they said my EGR valve and EGR rail were completely clogged. I am now getting about 2 to 3 more mpgs
