skunk2 drag springs - which shocks?

these are very firm so wouldnt that mean that the OEM shock would be just fine because there isnt going to be much movement anyway? is my theory wrong?
also - does height adjustment matter? will there be a difference between if the car is slammed vs if it is only lowered about 1 inch?
this is on a ~2300pound civic if it makes a difference.

i disagree. with 1000 pound spring rates your shock is going to be forced up and down very fast causing the shocks to blow. Although there is not much travel the abrupt jerks on the shock will cause them to BLOW! but they will work 4 a while
