Default DIrty oil after oil change

I changed my oil yesterday. and today the oil is already dirty why is this? dirty meaning black. the front of my car is also lowered about 3 inches while teh back is at normal height. reason for this is because i broke the bolt connecting my rear control arm to my strut. so my front is lowered but my rear isnt. i cant raise it back up or i dotn want to because i have to change out the cambers again take out the springs put in teh factory ones and what not. and anothe reason is one of the front shocks that we pulled out was rusted through and disenagrated. will this effect oil at all? or how the motor works? and what kind of shocks can i get that is maybe couple steps or one step above factory? im poor so i cant afford 400 dollars for a pair of rear shocks. thx

Sorry let me rephrase. i just changed my oil yesterday with vavoline 5w-30 max life. Yes i also replaced the oil filter. i only owned the car for about 4 months. I went ahead and changed the oil yesterday becuase i had to change the altenator out. So this was the second time i changed the oil. Both times i checked the oil the day after it was black. What im asking is how can it be so dirty/dark after only one day of driving maybe 20 miles.

THe second thing im asking my front sits about 3 inches lower then my rear due to the fact when i lowered my car i finished the front but when i got to the last strut i broke the bolt off where the strut connects to the lower control arm. So i had to redo the other rear shock and place teh stock spring back on. i couldnt do the front because one of the spring had rusted through. And i was lazy and didnt want to take my cambers off. Will this affect oil in anyway it being tilted forward more? and since i think im going to need new rear shocks what can i get that is a step above factory casue im a pooooorrrr man thx

I dont think the tilt of the car is going to effect the dirtyness of the oil. hows ur Air filter????? have you cleaned it lately? make sure all ur silicone Couplers dont have any cracks\holes\slipping. Are you Burning any oil??????

The Couplers. usualy with a aftermarket intake. It has couplers to join the tubes. Well, burning oil, probly means theres blow by. and its burning the oil, or burning it up real bad, causing it to turn black. Get a compression test, AND leak down test to show how bad the rings may be.

does your oil smell like fuel?

EDIT: if you're burning oil, which you said you are, it means some of the oil is escaping into the combustion chamber, and most likely(and more likely) some of your fuel is escaping into the crankcase.

Just change the oil and filter again.

You can also try an engine flush and see if that cleans it up. It worked very well on my old crx.

Depends on the tool your using. Everyone tool reads differently. As long as it is consistent and not TOO low your fine.

LOL, you think that's low for that kind of mileage?

I'm running 140, 140, 35 and around 40 in my car.

Still gets 36 MPG like a mug, though
