Default B16xxx or B18xxx for a 1991 Honda CRX Si?

Im new to all this engine swap stuff? But I got the car and the money. I want to hear opinions on the best choice of motor and what do I do to modify the motor. I went to a racetrack a few days ago and saw so many CRX with DOHC Vtecs that killed Imprezas. I feel stupid asking this stuff but this is how everyone starts off. Please tell me the specifics on how to make my CRX go from a 150-170 hp motor to a 250 hp by modifying it. Which motor and what parts do I start off with?
