Beaver Springs raceway is teh suck
My old man and his dometic freinds had a track rental so i tagged along in my 2001 GSR with 97 JDM ITR motor I/H/E. The track is on top of a mountin and has an elevation of 630 ft (not that bad), but the track its self isnt level, its up hill. Not to mention everyone there imports and domestics had the worst problems hooking up. I usually go to Atco or englishtown, as being im in NJ. So I decided to get a couple of runs in, the only problem was i had no slicks or radials, but ive pulled off 13.9s at Etown on street tires. Not here, my best pass was a 14.57 on street tires.
I did make two passes with someone elses slicks earlier in the day and hit 13.89, and 14.06 but still had spinning off the line and hitting second gear.
Here is my 14.57 time slip:
RT....627
60....2.269
330..6.213
660..9.465
MPH..76.21
1000 12.230
1/4...14.573
MPH..97.63

here's some pictures taken at Numidia..the shut down area is the only thing that is uphill...unlike beaver springs..much better quality and this is an NHRA sponsored track..so it is approved by them and there is a Division 1 meet held there every year.
