ive checked at my local lowes and home depot and cant find them..... anyone know of a good place online to get them from pretty cheap? i need a few sets of lht and rht joints

What are they going to be used for? Domestic/circle track shops usually carry them.

 

im gonna make an assortment of stuff....... pillar bars.... maybe x-brace .... tension rods for my friends 240..... just a variety of things for my car and friends cars

 

there is a company called MSC where you can get great deals on stuff like that. there cataloges are like 3 inches think, they have everything.

What size/strength for using them on A-Arm ends?

 

for tie/strut bars, doesnt the heim joint allow them to pivot back and forth?

 

yea i need some pretty strong ones as they are gonna be used for some tension rods so they need to be able to take some abuse

Would you want two RH joints, or one RH and LH joint to be able to adjust the tie rod?

 

you'd need one right and one left if you want to adjust the tierod without taking it apart.

3/8" is more than adequate. 1/2" aluminum is cool also.
