CRX Bumper 89 and 91 the same?
I need to know if the bumper for a 89 Si CRX (Canadian model) is the same as the 91 Si CRX? My friend needs to pick up a bumper and a guy is selling one hes like bumper will fit but I don't know about the flashers? So 2 questions will the bumper be direct bolt-on and will everything from the 89 Si fit onto the 91 Si bumper with ease and no moddding? Please let me know asap I might go pick up this bumper in 20 mins. Thanks guys!
It will fit on there with no problems. The only difference in the 2 bumpers is that the 88-89 ones have smaller amber blinkers and the 90-91 ones have larger clear blinkers. You can get the 88-89 blinkers anywhere for cheap. There are dozens around. Hell you can get clear ones for the 88-89 aftermarket for like $10.

I'm not sure about the Canadian models, but all the 88-89's I've seen have a fatter molding than the 90-91's. That might not be important, but I figured I'd throw that out there for you.

actually, the fogs were a USDM dealer option too, there were clear lenses instead of yellow though.

In Japan there was also another set of fogs that attached to the upper middle section of the bumper. I have only seen a pic of them once. But the JDM front bumpers have the mounts for them. I was over at sircrxracers house helping him adjust his front end conversion and we were wondering what these extra mounts were for. This pic just answered that question.
