Ok so i will be doing a h22 swap in my 92 hatch in 2 weeks. I will be running the hasport mounts and i looked on their site and they offer 3 different kinds of eurothane for the mounts. 62A, 70A, 80A urethane.

whats the difference in the 3? ( common sense says the higher the number the stiffer they are?)

what would you guys recommend i run 62A, 70A, or 80A?

Also has anybody herd anything about the hasport axels? or are the DSS ones better?

where is the cheapest place to get the hasports mounts as well? ( cheapest i have seen is $565)

I don't mean to discourage your use of HASport mounts but I can tell you from experience that the Enjo mounts mount the swap far better in this chassis. The mount kit is also much less bulky and more clean looking. Not to mention the fact Enjo is cheaper and provides those gloves I love so damn much. I have had both, and i had alot of axle issues with hasport and very little with enjo. Its too bad you aren't closer to me, I have several Enjo kits in stock for 300.00. I don't ship though sorry man.

All I can say about Enjo/Totem/Yonaka/any Canadian brand is
http://www.JDMshit.com/Totem are some Totem/ENJO (same guys) mounts we test-fitted awhile back. Some of the worst old-skool HCP knock-off mounts I've seen.

The concensus here on HT is to either stick with HCP or Hasport if you do a H22 swap into your Civic, but if you feel that you're going to get a "better" deal with some other brand, good luck with it.

 

I'll clock in. I have HCP mounts in an ek fitment is great. I'd be a little happier with about an inch more towards the passenger side, but it's really not a big deal.

YOu don't have driveshafts.

I have custom DSS axles. They are, how do the young ones say it now-a-days?, the bizzomb!

 

i have used HCP and they were good til i broke the rear mount, then later i picked up some Hasports and they have been great too.

I'm using the HAspost mounts and axles in my h22 ek. I have had them for almost a year and haven't had any problems. Which is pretty good seeing as my car is slammed and can launch at 5,000 at the track.

 

Im not sure about the type but I kno Full Race in the sponsors forum sells the mounts for the cheapest I've found brand new. Also u might get lucky and find some used but never installed if u look in the forums.

Honestly, stick with either the 62 or the 70a, the 88 is too harsh for most street cars. The kit normally ships with 70A if I remember correctly..
