Default Cai question

i just turned my cai into a short ram for the winter cause its in two pieces. but i noticed that the filter is kinda rubbing against a bolt on the shock tower and its kinda pushing the flaps on the filter in. is this in any way going to effect the filter or will it b fine the way it is?

That happened with my Civic too - What I did was push the filter on further so it wouldn't rub. If yours is already on as far as it can go, I don't think a few "flaps" are going to affect air flow.

Better throttle response and more top-end torque from a short ram, more low and midrange torque from a CAI. Simple physics.
