I've come across an opportunity to aquire a B17A1 from a '93 GS-R for a very good price, I was just wondering if anybody esle on here might have a B17 swap and can tell me if there are any quirks I might need to be aware of? I'll be running this with a hydro Si tranny of course, but other than that is it all straight forward as any other B16/18 swap?

k@man had a 17 in his old eg. p m him with any questions about it. im pretty sure its a direct swap like all other bseries aside from the cable tranny.

it's a direct swap as far as i know....OBDI y0!

 

Pretty much the same as a B16a. But you have to change the timing belt motor mount from a two bolt style to a three bolt style. If you need/want help, hit me up.
