Momo Tuner (forgot what diameter)

Camp 1320 quick release

Momo hub

Quick release is great, no play AT ALL. Only thing is, when you reattach the steering wheel, keep your fingers as far to the edges of the paddles as possible, getting your finger tips smashed is NOT THE FUN FUNS! I have a couple friends that can vouch for that

I also have a question, do quick release hubs have different combinations like keys to a lock? Or can any steering wheel with a detachable hub connect to any car with the same system. Can someone clear this up for me?

I want to use this as a theft deterant thats why i ask.

The hub like I have is universal with other camp 1320 ones, but there are other quick releases out there that are unique or have locks on them. I did a little modification to mine though so no one else can come and plop their camp1320 wheel onto my hub

1. Splash short hub

2. Mugen Steering Wheel II and the diameter is 350 mm

3. Rapfix Quick Release and locking cover

4. Pics later

5. The Rapfix Q/R is simply top notch in conctruction and ease of use. No play
whatsoever. I love it! The Splash short hub along with the Q/R is brings the
steering wheel just a tad closer to me compered to the stock wheel. It's almost
perfect!

not the greatest pic but here it goes:

-Momo hub
-Momo Team (320 mm) wheel
-SPW quick release hub

The quick release is great. Sorta acts like a steering wheel spacer brininging the wheel closer to me. There's no play at all in it and cant really go wrong for a quick release that costs $100 (Canadian)

the horns work (mine doesnt though). The signals take a little getting used to cause u gotta take ur hand away from the wheel to reach them. Maybe i just have short sausage fingers!!

I had a tekniq hub and snap off w/ momo tuner wheel, it was nice a little play in the system when you made any aggressive moves.

I currently have a momo hub, nrg carbonfiber snap off w/ a momo tuner wheel. This set up sits a little closer to you then the tekniq, so your turn siganls and such are further away. Overall this set up quality wise is alot better. The fit and finish off the momo pieces are great, and the nrg snap off is just sick.
Sorry no pics

Did it ever occur to you that I might want the wheel to stick out this far?

There's many different setups that you can go with that won't stick out farther than stock, spoon hub + splash or NRG or spw QR will be fine. or momo hub + esses would be fine too, you just have to do your research. I love how mine sticks out.

the wheel does stick out more but it is a lot better. the wheel felt a lot further away from me before. with the quick relase, it brought me closer to the wheel a couple of inches. Much easier to drive with!!

well, im about 6'2", so at the stock distance, its just about perfect for me. i have a friend with the NRG setup...very nice, but that thing does stick out a little far for me. plus, its not cool when i have to take my hand off of the steering wheel to reach the turn signal

i might buy one and cut a big section out of the hub adapter and weld it back together, that would make it a little shorter...

I gotta see pics of this setup. it's sound a;most excatly what i'm looking for. Do you have to take your hand off the wheel to signal with this setup ?
