stock 0-60 time

Default stock 0-60 time

does anyone knoe the 0-60time for a stock 93 ex, i think its somewhere in the 6's right? cuz i have an ex with a dx tranny and i did a 0-60 and it was in the 8's

well i did it .5 seconds faster and i have a dx tranny. my only mods are a cai and clutch,

so since i did it faster its kinda saying that longer gears doesnt effect acceleration that much

Yes they do. I don't know how you measured it, but I can guarantee you it would go down with the EX transmission.

Well CAI and a clutch would get you there that much faster. Trust me I put the ex gears in my car and I love them. Dx was ok intill I found out that Ex gears can now beat lightly modded civic Si's.

lol.. i could get my ex up there quick but... i have to wait for it to get into second... thats my only problem... if i'm gonna make a quick pull with someone i have to be at the very top of 2nd and if i'm already in 3rd and i'm at the bottom we have to wait till i'm at the top of 3rd in order to go... cause i can't get back into 2nd... lol... but i'm happy with my ex trans...

im pretty sure that the reason you are beating si's is because the ex is lighter, not because the gearing is faster in an ex tranny than an si's.

On a serious note, this thread is on the weak side. I suggest you to go pick up a g-tech pro meter and see what 0-60 times you get with that. Remember that it will be a tad faster but much more accurate than using a stop watch.

well i dont need an exact time cuz its just a dd, i just wanted to see if there was a difference with a dx tranny cuz i thought i read that a stock ex does 0-60 in like 6.4
