Bottom End laggy ?

Default Bottom End laggy ?

i have a 96 Lude VTEC and for some reason my bottom end (under 3.5 grand) is extremely laggy . . i know i need new belts and seals but i dout thats the problem . . im puttin in the new belts and seals tomorrow anyone got any ideas i should try while im under there? thanks a lot for the info.

Well, it doesn't have very much torque anyway, but it wouldn't hurt to do a tune up and get it running back like stock. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, air/fuel filter, seafoam, etc...

because H22A's powerband is all midrange. VTEC motors are not low end power producers, they never will be. Get a car that has low end power, your low end power problem will then be solved.
