alright i got a 89 civic with a b16a in it. has plenty of fuel, timin is correct, spark seems to be ok, everything works all honky dorey, but it wont start. someone hook me up with some good *** advice. if you crank it over it acts like it wants to start it jus doesnt. sometimes it will start for bout 5 secs get up to bout 500-600 rpm and jus bog out and die. If i try to give it gas it jus bogs out and dies. HELP

 

sounds kinda like my gsr motor was when i first picked it up. The injectors sprayed enough fuel to get it to sputter but they were cloged up because the prev owner didn't have a fuel filter in it. disconect the vac hose off the fuel pressure reg and see if it changes anything.
