Default air/fuel gauge i made

Heres the air/fuel gauge i made. Im pretty happy with how it came out, it works well. Cost me about $10 in parts. What ya think?

of course it works man! The leds are fed by some ribbon cable I had, it slips right into the steering column so you cant see it. I got the schematic from the internet. It had brightness adjust and aslo dot mode or bar mode.

A/F guages are pointless without a wideband 02. But yes that is very creative and if it does what the $50 ones do its a from me.

how do u know what your a/f ratio is?

do u have it hooked up to a wide band?

You dont really know what your a/f is, you deffinitely need a wideband. The o2 sensor sends a signal from .1 to 1 v, the higher the voltage, the richer its running. I found a VERY sleek and unobtrusive LED array, so it worked outwell. It cost me $10 and about 5 hours to build though..... I like it, its not as good as i thought, I thought the o2 sensor output a solid signal, instead it checks it periodically. Either way, its pretty sweet how it sits right on the steering column and everything is hidden!!!

it cost me $10 plus 5 hours!! thats not a lot of profit. We could DEFFINITELY work something out though if theres interest.

thanks, more like having a degree in electrical engineering technology and cant get an engineering job, so I gotta stay busy!

Ill look into getting the parts
