Default 4th Gen Spoilers

Does the OEM spoilers on 4th gens actually serve a purpose or are they just for appearence. The reason I ask is because i plan on driving in some NASA events soon and I am under the impression that some spoilers do actually work to create a downforce on the rear causeing more rear traction. But if OEM works just as good as an aftermarket than ill just keep the OEM.

The OEM spoilers serve absoltely no performance purpose. They are only for apperance.

If you are looking for a performance spoiler you will have to buy an aftermarket setup.

Good luck with the NASA events!

If its not that necessary then i wont worry about it. I just figured i could lose rear traction easily in a turn?

the only purpose the rear spolier could serve is rear stability at HIGH speeds. It will never provide much 'rear traction' because the car is driven by the front wheels
