GSR or LS Tranny

my transmission doesnt have a vin or sticker on it, the car is GSR but gearing seems more like LS. Does 80 mph at 4k rpm in 5th gear sounds right? Car is on 18 icher's also

its a gsr. 80 mph is only about 3 or 3.5k rpm on an ls. at 4000 on an ls, youd be going about 90

1st & 2nd gear on the GSR and LS are the same. The rest are different. In my GSR, 5th gear @ 3k RPM = 60mph.

also my ls/vtec hatchback has a 94 Integra tranny from junkyard which they said its an ls but the sticker says y80. Is USDM s80 ls trannies?

i have a ls and when im on the freeway, going about 80mph, im at just about 4k if not more. i think its an ls but im not sure...

What about the B16 tranny? What RPM would it be at 80mph?

Well, USDM ITR tranny is around 4300 @ 80mph if I remember right, so expect the same with a B16.

about 4700 on my 92-93 b16 tranny

that is just about where I am on a JDM itr tranny

Jesus I dont remember it being that high....it might differ a bit on the JDM tranny too. But damn thats high.
