will a b16a1 fit a 91 civic hb automatic
I have a 91 hb civic it's a auto. Do you know if you can swap a stick shift tranny into this car. if so what is required to swap a B16a1 into this chassis.
The only thing that doesn't bolt up is the shift linkage. Its easy to fix, you just drill two new holes so the shifter lines up straight. Also you must convert the car to mpfi and add the vtec wires like usual.
yo also have to pound a dent in the frame of the car on the driversdide side to to make more room for the b series to fit in there then just paint over where u dented with paint so it doesnt rust i used a min sledge when i put a ls motor in a ef hatch
your also going to need motor mounts and u are going to have to cut down a b series shift linkage i have one 50 bux shipped if u need it also mpfi conversion too if u need any parts pm me

I just did the auto to manual swap. It shouldnt be that bad if you get the b16, mounts, tranny, axles and shift linkage. You'll just need to get the pedal assembly from a manual.
