camber kit or no camber kit?
Ok, I decided to get some ground control coils and some tokicos n/a for my crx, but im wondering if i should get a camber kit or not....any suggestions? Im planning on lowering the car about 1.5" or more, on stock wheels at first and theen an after 15 or 16"....what do you guys think? Does the brand of camber kit make a difference?
well if your cambetr is off you will have tread wear not last as long as a normal tire should. it happened to me. i would get an ingall's camber kit
If you go lower than 1.5" you will most likely need a camber kit as Hondas do not have camber adjustment for a greater than 1.5" drop.
Definitelty get an alginment after installing the GCs. The alignment shop can tell you if you need a camber kit or not...

Drop the car to the ride height you want, then get your girl to help you measure the toe. THe toe-spec is all you should care about first. If you are physically able to turn a wrench, then you should be able to correct your own toe-spec. Just be sure the car is on level ground and measure after you've moved the car around some to settle the tires/suspension.

I would get one if I were you, I put a Progress camber kit on mine. So if you plan on going lower than 1.5 I would invest in one.
