My 05 RSX-S 1/4 Mile time
I went to the dragway yesterday and this were my results. Note I didnt launch my car I just accelerated off the light as you would do in any traffic light, just burning the clutch a little in order not to spin the tires. Tires were at stock psi. The only mod is an injen CAI and the car ahs 2600mi. If I would have put the tires at lower psi and launched the car would have gotten better times for sure. I spinned the wheels on 2 and 3 gear also, so that means time loss. Also tires werent warmed up, no burn out done before each pass.

The engine should be just fine. At 2600 miles, its not 100% broken in, but its broken in enough to start driving hard, i mean, taking it to redline isn't going to hurt anything.

um just an intake? that nullifies the "stock car."
you are either stock or you aren't.

ey i had a question, is ur Injen CAI the same as the 02-04s? cuz i heard the 05 RSX's intake manifold is like 7mm bigger so i dunno if the old CAI would fit. Did you have to do any modifications?

SH*T!!! I've got 12,2XX on mine in 5 months and it been down the track more
than 50 times. 1st time was with 1,8XX miles on it.
As for my time, I was only able to squeeze off 14.87 @ 93 0r 92 mph?
Track was in terrible condition, and I can't drive!!!

in my 02 about 3 years ago I ran a 14.8X @95 100% stock. (20psi in front tires, empty tank, 45 degree weather)
with I/H I ran a 14.90 @97 on a HORRIBLE track in 90 degree weather.
*just for reference, as I am a NHRA licensed driver*

Yes, my injen CAI is the one from previous models, I had problems at the begining with it being hit by the shift mechanisim, but moved it around until finally it didnt made any contact, so yes it works.
Damn!!!! i didnt know the K series was so fast outta the box. i was expecting like a 14.8-14.9 from just an intake on a RSX, but a 14.6! cant wait to get me an RSX in a year and a half
