Default How to I change front brakes on 94 Civic

How do I change my front brakes on my 94 Civic ex 4dr. I have changed brakes on only one car about 3 years ago. I know its easy but I am not a mechanic type guy. I am trying to learn how to work on cars but its just a lil late as I am in college and all my friends back home cant show me what to do. So I gotta learn myself. I just thought you all could tell me the simple process. The brakes are nothing special just factory car with autozone brakes. Thanks tons

Im probably the only guy who has had almost all my friends through out my life be very good mechanics and I never picked up on crap.

first off you could start by posting a question about a civic in a civic forum.

.) Loosen the lug nuts a bit.
.) Jack up the car from the front jacking point.
.) Put jack stands under the car.
.) Crack open a beer and consume said beer.
.) Remove wheels (you loosened the lug nuts, right?)
.) Remove the ... 12mm? (forgot the size) bolt on the bottom of the caliper.
.) Slide up caliper and remove the pads.
.) Crack open another beer and consume said beer.
.) < Skip this section if you're just changing pads > Get an impact driver and get the screws that hold the discs to the hub.
.) Remove the 17mm? (forgot the size) bolts from the caliper carriers.
.) Remove calipers and hang them from a wire hanger or place them on something so the lines don't get kinked/stretched/yadda yadda.
.) Remove disc brakes.
.) Put on the new disc.
.) Put on the caliper. Hand thread the 14mm? bolts back into place.
.) <Start here again if you're just changing pads > Use a vice grip or a caliper piston tool to push back caliper.
.) Put in brake pads.
.) Slide caliper back down.
.) Crack open another beer and consume said beer.
.) Hand thread the 12mm? bolt back into place in the caliper.
.) Torque down the 17mm? bolt to 80ft lbs. Forgot the torque specs for the 12mm.
.) Bleed brake fluid if needed.
.) Put on wheels, remove jack stands, lower car and torque the lug nuts to 80ft lbs.

And last but not least ...

.) Why are you posting this in the ITR forum?
