Turbo.

I ran a 13.8@100mph with a D16y7 under my hood.

A supercharger has a design flaw for a motor as weak as the D series though. They put more drag on the motor to make power. When you only have about 100 hp to build on, taking 15-20 of that to belt drive a supercharger isn't my idea of fun.

tru. I would go bost or a mnin me. with bolt ons. the non vtec sohc is not bad motor in any way at all. you can still have fun with it and build it up to run with the sohc vtec's and even the b series motor.

hum, I've been here about 1 year, and I've never even considered turboing my stock d15b7

how many "safe, reliable" horses could I get out of it ?
I mean, like @ 7psi or what ever it takes to not blow this engine(I'm soooo poor)

i don't man.

i didn't want to take any chances with him cause you never know what he
could actually have or how fast he can actually be. he may have been quick. once i put like 2 cars on him, i think he let off cause he knew he wouldn't catch up.

he wanted to run me, i didn't want to run him.

i would say a high 14 second car maybe :dunno:
